Dieting and Weight Loss: The Fast Track Methods

When it comes to weight loss needs/desires – women tend to fall into one of two groups; those needing to lose “a lot” of weight, and those who need to shed just a few pounds to get back to their ideal size. As we hit the summer season, many of us are becoming more aware of that winter weight we put on, those extra 10-20lbs of pure seasonal laziness! I’m guilty of it myself, my winter weight usually manifests as a muffin top, a fuller than normal face and an extra two inches on my waist line. To really get bikini body ready, I’m going to examine some of the top fitness programs designed to help you shed weight quickly and in a healthy manner.

master-cleanse-book-dietThe Master Cleanse: I’ve talked about this briefly before, but I’m considering giving it a try. It’s popularly known as the lemonade diet or the syrup diet. Beyonce admitted to using the Master Cleanse while preparing for her role as Deena in Dream Girls. She lost 20lbs in two weeks. Now I’m not looking to lose twenty pounds, but the Master Cleanse has a ton of other benefits as well. The Master Cleanse is basically like a detox, flushing all the toxins out of your system. The weight loss is a natural by product of it, but it’s also a good way to increase your energy and mental clarity. I find myself feeling terribly sluggish during the day. I think back to the years of sugar, fats, salts, caffeine, etc that are just sitting in my body, partying and having a good ole time at the expense of my energy levels! If (really when) I decide to do the Master Cleanse, it will be for the purpose of regaining energy. I know myself, and I can’t start any quick weight loss program until I address my energy issues.

I mean it seems really obvious – isn’t that what all weight loss programs promise to do? Obviously not. It seems really popular and from what I’ve gathered so far – the member support that comes with the program is awesome.

Oh – and Oprah has talked about her as well. You know you’ve hit pay dirt when you get a mention by the queen of talk, Oprah! Jennifer most recently launched the Ab Circle Pro product on HSN. She’s completely legit in terms of her knowledge and success at achieving the desired results. Her program has a ton of great freebies included with it as well, like a mp3 download audio seminar. She’s high energy and fun, I’m looking forward to trying this one. Now granted, I’m not trying to get to fitness model status, but I’d love to lose 3-4 inches around the waist!
