We’ve compiled a list of the top 5 beaches of the Caribbean! This list is in no particular order …
1.Seven Mile Beach (Grand Cayman):
World renowned for it’s beauty, Seven Mile Beach of the Grand Cayman Island is actually only 5 miles long! Travelers marvel at it’s coral sands and enjoy snorkelling in it’s clear waters. While you can certainly enjoy all that Seven Mile Beach has to offer on your own, many Gen Y travelers opt for guided tours. Some of the most noted tour groups are Captain Marvin’s, Moby Dick Tours and Fat Fish Adventures. If you prefer the relaxing atmosphere of a resort, the Marriot Grand Cayman Beach Resort received and average rating of 4 out of 5 by TripAdvisor members.

2.Luquillo Beach (Puerto Rico):
The town of Luquillo is located on the Northeast coast of Puerto Rico. It is known for it’s variety of beaches and is a popular location for destination weddings. Of all the beaches in this town, Luquillo Beach is the most popular. It’s close proximity to El Yunque National Rain Forest also makes it a popular destination for those who wish to tour. The waters of Luquillo Beach are calm, making it perfect for families with children.

3.The Gold Coast (Barbados):
Traditional British hospitality is alive and well on the beautiful island of Barbados. You’ll find the maintained tradition of afternoon tea as well as the game of cricket. The Gold Coast (located on the western coast of the island and often referred to as the Platinum Coast by locals) brings in plenty of big spenders to their swanky resorts and spas. However The Gold Coast has plenty of affordable resort options for those of us who aren’t swimming in money! Popular for it’s snorkeling and calm waters perfect for swimming – you’ll find plenty of resort options. Divi Heritage Beach Resort and Almond Resort are amongst the most popular, however villa and vacation rentals are another great option. Chandos Beach Villa, Petit Cadeau Villa and Sandy Bay House are great places to start.

4.Palm Beach (Aruba):
Thought of as one of the most “fun” beaches of Aruba, Palm Beach is located on the southwest coast of the island. High-rise hotel resorts line the beach, so no matter where you stay, the beautiful sands are right in your “back yard”. Because of it’s popularity, it can sometimes get a bit crowded. This fun atmosphere may be ideal for large groups and co-eds, however if you are looking for something a bit more reserved – look to the north end of the island and the Marriot or the south end of the island near the Divi Phoenix.

5.Seven Mile Beach (Negril):
Seven Mile Beach (Negril, Jamaica) get’s it’s name because it stretches the seven miles of the Negril Coastline. It is one of the top destinations for Caribbean vacationers. The clean sandy beaches and their crystal clear waters make Negril a relaxing Caribbean destination. The locals are also very friendly! The Sunsets are gorgeous and the nightlife is hot! Negril has something for everyone – whether you’re traveling with your children, or a group of college co-eds, you will find what you need. There are several great resort options including Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa, Negril Cabins Resort, Sea Splash Resort, and the co-ed popular Hedonism II.
